Chapter 8 Essay

Speech:

Members of this convection. This is what I believe to be most important in the Constitutional Convection.

I think the issue that is most important is the secrecy. I believe this one is important because we don't want what we are talking about to go public. If it goes public then the people outside of this will want to put their input in and try to get involved. So if we wait and not tell anyone out side of this till we have found an answer for everything we discus.

Next I believe that slavery is never needed. We shouldn't have people work for other people with no pay. People shouldn't own people. How would you like it if you had to work all the time for people you barely know just because the own you. I believe no one owns you but the mom and dad. But even they let you go when your older or let you have freedom. So I think we should count the slaves as people and not property. They are the same as us with a heart and dreams.

Christ Church Burial Ground, Philadelphia

Christ Church Burial Ground

Benjamin Franklin, one of the popular ones went to that church. When he died in 1790 they put up a wall around his grave so people can stop by and see it anytime of the day. They would throw pennies on his grave to show they remembrance and say "A penny saved is a penny earned."

In the Burial Ground there are over 4000 members of the Church there. In the Burial Ground there are five signers of the Declaration of Independence there. Which are Benjamin Franklin, Joseph Hewes, Francis Hopkinson, George Ross, and Dr. Benjamin Rush.

They had built a brink wall in 1772 and then re-built it in 1927.
In 2003 they re-opened the Burial Ground for the public. Over 160 of the markers were re-built.

Then in 2005 in December they made a new brick path in honor of Benjamin Franklin 300th Birthday.

Now they are still keeping the Burial Ground clean and well and everything is still there to see.
